I noticed after that there is a picture of the Kremlin wrapped around the can. Very odd. I asked Tecate what’s up, but don’t expect an answer.

Tacate is part of Heineken which announced plans to increase exports of Tecate beer to 70 countries in 2017. Perhaps the can you had was originally intended to be exported to Russia and somehow went astray?
It’s for the World Cup in which Mexico has participated every single year since it began. The World Cup is being held in Russia.
