Ken and Donna pulled in minutes ago and that was that, Midnight went home. I’m glad we took our after dinner walk early tonight. I just had a feeling his parents would be home before bedtime.

I’m glad they’re home safe and sound, but I sure am going to miss my little excuse to take a stroll before bedtime. It’s amazing how quickly a little soul can work its way into your heart.
