We took a detour on the way  back to the hotel so I could check out the view from Macaulay Point. I was especially impressed with the buoy in front of the docks.

Macaulay Point is in Esquimalt.

I learned that Esquimalt is not pronounced ‘Es-ki-malt’ but rather ‘Es-kwhy-malt.’
