My new credit card made it! I was told four days so I thought maybe Friday, but was really expecting it today, if it was to make it at all. I am impressed!

If a bank can get you out of a ticklish situation in, of all places, Bulgaria, I will never worry about a bank’s reliability again. We had our one and only credit card skimmed in Miami, Florida, and I was wringing my hands until the bank Fed Exed me a new one as the cruise line would not let me board the ship without a valid and activated credit card. Congratulations!!

Dee, remember that Bulgaria is part of the European Union, just like France or Germany. It’s a little less developed (and a lot less expensive), but don’t think I’m in a “backwater.” It will be really interesting when I go next door to Serbia, which isn’t part of the EU and much less “Western.”
