I went for a walk after dinner yesterday, taking the road east and then climbing the steep hill and walking that road for a couple of kilometres.

The road east was alive with small jumping frogs! This is the first time I’ve seen frogs out here! They were just so cute! They ranged in colour from khaki to a bright yellow green. One was even kind enough to hop onto my hand for a picture. Its legs were about twice as long as its body!

The steep hill was decorated with bright sunflowers on both sides:

This deer ran through one pasture and over a fence onto the road, crossed cautiously, hopped another fence, and ran into another pasture where it slowed down for a bit before getting spooked and bounding away.
